throwboy:

Introducing iCEO. Now there’s a visionary in the Throwboy collection. Available for preorder on Throwboy.com.
Once in our generation, if we’re lucky, someone who truly personifies these three extraordinary traits will come along and Change. Our. World. This one man taught us a philosophy that was simple and complex, made us gasp and smile and moved us fast and steady. As an interactive audience, we’ll never be the same. Here at Throwboy, we won’t forget how we were indulged by the man in the black mock turtleneck. Instead, we celebrate the life of this inspiring person whose raving passion for all things tech kept us craving innovation and lusting after his creativity.

The Throwboy team proudly donates 10 percent of the proceeds of each iCEO sold to the American Cancer Society. It’s all in honor of this influential man who continues to shape our world with his legacy.

PlugBug by TwelveSouth
I want to know how it is that the folks at TwelveSouth keep turning out such amazing “well-duh-I-should-have-though-of-that” stuff.
And, how am I supposed to keep writing a site about having enough and not buying things you don’t need when they keep doing so?
In all seriousness, I don’t need this. But, oh, how I want it… So conflicted right now.

Best comment about Siri for iphone 4s!

“I don’t think you’re seeing the big picture here. Siri is your personal assistant, in your pants (without getting into trouble with your wife). You can schedule appointments, text and so much more without having to look at your phone with, what is said to be, fantastic accuracy. With so many states passing laws against using your phone in your vehicle, this makes perfect sense. From what I’ve read about Siri, there is no other phone on the market that is as accurate, without having to talk like a robot in order for it to understand you.”

I remember using these apps back in the day. I used to love the paintbrush program.

I’m an avid user of quicksilver. :)

Quicksilver: Mac OS X at your Fingertips [Sponsor]
Quicksilver is back! I, for one, could not be happier.
Many in-the-know know the long and often troubled history of the ultimate file launching and manipulation utility. Originally developed by a shadowy figure named Alcor, in it’s day it was the one Mac app I could not have a machine without. Then, Alcor was “hired” by some clandestine corporation calling itself “Google” and, even though open sourced, the development of the app trailed off. Compatibility with the OS and updates to the app suffered along with it’s many users. The future of this once great power seemed doomed.
Recently, I got a mysterious email from someone. He had the same name as mine but, clearly, was someone, or perhaps something, different. This message informed me that a secret team of code ninjas had been formed to rescue Quicksilver from the hands of certain doom and bring it back to life. He pledged that he could make it stronger, faster, even better than it was before.
It is with with that pledge, that mission, in hand that it returns to my Mac. It allows me to do near superhuman things with files and applications. Launching apps, moving files, clipboard history, text manipulation. It makes me a frakkin Ninja and my Mac a Ginsu Knife (or something like that).
Oh, did I mention it was free? Free! A word no more true now than ever.
Download it now. Save your sanity. Save humanity!
