Found this little vector style animation. Enjoy!

Pay careful attention to how copyright laws kind of ruin artistic expression. :(

Cool vector illustration artwork video. Right up my alley.

Reevaluating life - A post for everyone!

LIfe as we know it.

Many of you know that I don’t write much at all. In fact, it’s not really in me to write since I’m more of a audio visual person. That’s not to say that I don’t have many many thoughts that run through my head all day everyday. I’m at this point in my life where things are being reevaluated and tested. This is a good thing if you’re up for the challenge and I clearly am. This is not a entry about totally my personal life per-say, but an entry teaching you a thing or two about trying to keep happy everyday. Many people ask me why and how can I smile 85% of the day. Well first things first, I’m alive and this makes me happy to take on a new day. Let’s face it. I don’t know what’s going to happen on any given day. Sure I plan my day accordingly but will it turn out that way? Will it turn out better? Worse? I don’t keep high expectations for everyday events since I might just get disappointed with the result. Why should I do that to myself? So don’t set SUPER high expectations, but set standards and realistic expectations. This will keep your attitude grounded with others as well as your own mental health.

If you’re in a workplace where there is a set work flow, can’t you relate that to how you live your own life. Let’s face it, work flows were created on personal lifestyles, research and tailored for the work place. It all starts with us in the beginning. When you focus on life what do you think of first? Love? Career? Dreams? I think of all of these everyday, not at the same time of course.

Love myself first and foremost, but I love all my friends. They are the biggest influence for my day to day life.

Career, well I’m never content with what I’m doing in life and I never will be. That’s because there is always something out there to do. Currently I’m getting into photography as a hobby. Not sure why and how I picked up on it so quickly. I’ve been around photographers for years and always told myself that I don’t think I could do it as well. Well that’s not true, I’m super amateur and like doing it for a hobby.

Dreams are the things that I know that I will accomplish over time after I’ve paid my dues. This can be reality for all of us. My drive is my passion for the arts. Those arts aren’t particularly popular in the area of Washington DC, hence my reasoning for moving to NYC. I’ll be closer to the things that I have admired since I was a boy. Ever since I was 15 yrs old I wanted to be in a big city with all the action. That dream has come true in so many ways. I’ve made the right connections in the places that I want to go. This is thanks for my efforts and wonderful people that I meet along the way. That’s why you have to incorporate love into your life. Love is not always about loving one person and being in a relationship.

As if this entry wasn’t long enough and deep enough in itself. This may be the most any of you have ever heard me talk, think or post. I’m in the social networking lifestyle and if you read this, most likely you are too. Feel free to reach out to me anytime. I’m following you, friends with you and interacting with you for all the right reasons and not just to get exposure.

Moral of this post is: Don’t be afraid to re-evaluate your life every once in a while. It’s like starting from zero and you have to take it to the utmost.

Good morning Wednesday, bring me sunshine.

Wonderful music! takes you to sleep or a different world, whatever comes first. :)

A lot went into the design of my tattoo. Started it when I was fifteen, the design is based off a Psalm that has defined a lot of my life. It’s painted on my walls in my room at my parents house, it’s plastered all over school notes and sketchbooks. I thought long and hard about it for three years before tattooing it on my arm and it means a lot to me. I also owe a lot to Zack Spurlock and Anonymous Tattoo in Savannah for making it clean and tattoo-able. I wouldn’t get tattooed by anyone else.
gorgeous.
